Job Role: SEN Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including ASC, ADHD, PMLD, SEMH, and associated challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum and adapt according to individual needs
- Deal with general class management with support
- Supervise and plan activities in and outside the classroom
- Ensure progress is clearly recorded in relevant systems
- Use ICT effectively to support learning activities
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Have an overseas criminal clearance or be willing to apply for one
- Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
- Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
- Hold a QTS
- Minimum of three months UK residency
- We do not provide Visa sponsorship
