Job Title: Language Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Language Instructor to deliver Spanish and French language lessons in the East of England, Essex, Braintree area.

Salary:

£11.66 - £15 Per hour

About the Position

• The successful candidate will deliver interactive language lessons to students, promoting a love for languages and culture.
• Evaluation of student progress and provision of constructive feedback will be essential to support their growth.
• A positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic achievement and social development will be created by the ideal candidate.
• Collaboration with colleagues is required to develop curriculum and teaching materials that cater to diverse learner needs.
• Prioritization of attendance at staff meetings and professional development sessions will ensure the candidate remains updated on best practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Spanish/French or a related field is mandatory.
• Demonstration of strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and its application in the classroom is required.

Desirable Attributes and Qualifications

• Pursuing a Postgraduate qualification in Education will enhance the candidate's teaching skills and subject matter expertise.
• Gaining experience working in a multicultural environment will broaden perspectives and understanding of diverse communities.

Working Environment

The role involves working in a school setting, adhering to the school calendar and timetable. Regular interaction with students, parents, and colleagues is expected.
