About the Role: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Groundworks and civil engineering services, you will provide commercial support for projects in the South East. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure financial completion of projects, providing commercial support, understanding contractual requirements, liaising with clients, managing costs, and negotiating agreements.

About Us: Our company serves private, commercial, and public clients across Kent and the South East. We offer groundworks and civil engineering services for maintenance and new installations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial support for project documents.
  • Understand contractual requirements and negotiate agreements.
  • Liaise with clients on commercial issues and manage project costs.
  • Identify and price variations, prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Risk and opportunity management for project/section of works.

Requirements:

  • HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent construction related subject.
  • Demonstrable commercial experience, preferably within Civil Engineering/Groundworks.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
