**Job Overview**
Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Dumfries. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain, service, and repair automated machinery to minimize production downtime using engineering techniques.
- Provide technical support on projects, installations, and breakdowns.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Educated in a relevant discipline, such as City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND, or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a mechanical fitter within a machinery maintenance environment would be beneficial.
**Salary and Benefits:**
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £33,400 per annum, with opportunities for overtime earnings of £38,000 and upwards. This role offers a stable Monday to Friday schedule with days off at 8:30am.
