About the Role

CityWorx is seeking an experienced Care Quality Supervisor to join their team in the Kingston upon Thames area. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for promoting outstanding levels of quality assurance, compliance, and training across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet new clients and manage a team of senior care staff to carry out care and risk assessments
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records for all clients, including care plans, body maps, and medication competency forms
  • Conduct six-monthly QA reviews with clients and implement necessary adjustments to care plans
  • Spot-check care workers, identify training needs, and provide support to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with the Registered Manager and Duty Manager on CQC Action Plans, CQC files, and evidence gathering
  • Contribute to CQC inspections and QA inspections by local authority partners
  • Liaise with social care teams and attend client reviews as necessary
  • Amend care tasks and medication tasks responsively and as required
  • Organize and manage induction training and six-monthly refresher training, ensuring it is effective, compliant, and up-to-date
  • Participate in on-call duties one week in every four, handling escalated emergencies only
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with good knowledge of CQC requirements and experience in a domiciliary care environment. A NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
