DK Recruitment is recruiting for a Plant Maintenance Technician Leader to oversee the maintenance of production facilities at a leading engineering firm in the UK.

Main Duties
  • Lead the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, meeting production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source spare parts, materials, and services, minimizing delays and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results, resolving issues and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records of machine repair details and stock, supporting data-driven decision-making.

Estimated Annual Salary: £55,000 - £70,000
