Job Title: Pricing Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team at World Fuel Services. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing market trends and providing expert advice to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend to relevant paperwork for renewals, including locating current contracts, printing, and filling in renewal dockets.
  • Prioritize delegated pricing and report any new updates from consultants/clients to the Renewals Manager and Pricing Manager immediately.
  • Manage communication flow between suppliers and clients in a timely manner, prioritizing work according to business targets and deadlines.
  • Have a basic understanding of market trends/movements and the ability to relay this information to consultants and clients.
  • Solve client problems by working well with the team and external suppliers to achieve a satisfactory resolution.
  • Follow company document management procedures, using the extranet, filestream, and 5 to electronically scan and save or print all paperwork and indexing documents daily.
  • Obtain energy prices from energy suppliers with commission rates to use when preparing a price analysis via email for each site as advised by the pricing manager.
  • Use the matrix to obtain indicative energy prices to use when preparing a price analysis.
  • Liaise with suppliers to locate relevant information regarding market movements.
  • Keep up to date with market movements/trends.
  • Produce an energy analysis/proposal in a professional format for the energy consultant team to present to clients.
  • Liaise with clients and energy suppliers to arrange for rates/prices to be locked in and provide email confirmation to the client and energy consultant.
  • Save and file signed contracts onto the CRM system and electronic filing system, and pass the original document to the appropriate person within Orchard for checking.
  • Ensure proposal acceptance is signed and returned, filed using company document management procedures, and pass the original document to the appropriate person within Orchard.
  • Deal with own credit issues from the start of the process to the end.
  • Record all actions/liaison with clients on 5.
  • Support the pricing manager with ad hoc requests.
  • Participate in on-going training and development, regular performance reviews, and monthly one-to-ones.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the company.
  • Adhere to company and department standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures to attain and maintain the required competency level to perform the role, promoting a culture where customers are treated fairly, with openness and honesty.
  • Understand health, safety, environmental, and associated legal requirements relevant to our work and comply with these, actively promoting issues regarding health, safety, and the environment.
