We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team at DAF Trucks UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all customers receive the best possible advice on their vehicle parts requirements.

About the Position:

  • You will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade, or associated sectors.
  • A strong understanding of trucks and car parts is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • You will be working Monday to Friday on a night shift (actual hours TBC) and will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face-to-face, over the trade counter, and by telephone.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert advice on vehicle parts to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solution for their needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of warranty returns and ensuring any mistakes or omissions are dealt with promptly to prevent rejection.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless customer service and efficient sales processes.

  • An estimated salary of £39,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
