Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As an Oncology Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care by analyzing prescriptions from NHS professionals and ensuring they are suitable for complex patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screening of prescriptions for TPN and small volume compounded products, including antibiotics and chemotherapy drugs
  • Dispensing of TPN and small volume compounded products, including antibiotics and chemotherapy drugs
  • Liaise with regions and accounts to facilitate new patient installations and existing TPN patient formulation changes
  • Ensure Oncology prescriptions are screened, built and checked as required
  • Undertake statutory pharmacy duties and responsibilities
  • Be a pharmaceutical ambassador for the company at meetings with NHS clinicians, scientific seminars, conferences and symposia

Requirements:

  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • BOPA qualified or equivalent working experience in Oncology
  • Wants to help and supports patients in a primary care setting
