About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Rehabilitation Support Worker at Redford Court/Lodge, a 29-bed service in Liverpool. Our service provides rehabilitation to individuals with acquired brain injuries, and we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to service users, following individual support plans to meet their needs and aspirations.
  • Develop independent living skills, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, and socializing.
  • Assist with daily routines, such as bathing and attending to personal care needs, under the guidance of occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
  • Organize and participate in a variety of activities, both at the service and in the local community, such as art, crafts, music, sports, and gardening.
Requirements
  • Genuine empathy for service users, with the positivity, patience, and resilience to support them through challenging times.
  • Excellent face-to-face communication skills and a good standard of literacy.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
