Our Geoscience Team

Venterra's Geoscience team is comprised of market-leading experts from Ordtek, GDG, and Partrac, offering unparalleled site characterisation, geoscience management, sediment processes, UXO management, and GIS and data services tailored to meet the comprehensive needs of our clients.

We're seeking a highly organised and motivated individual with experience in running large offshore geotechnical campaigns to join our established and growing Survey Management Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project-specific geoscience strategies
  • Provision and management of offshore client representatives
  • Management of in-field operations, vessels, and survey contractors
  • QA/HSE supervision
  • Development and management of laboratory testing strategies
  • QA/QC of contractor deliverables and reports

As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with clients and stakeholders to navigate third-party impacts on site investigations, devising and discussing mitigation strategies to safeguard project timelines and outcomes.

You'll also be responsible for supervising the interpretation of extensive geotechnical datasets and conducting comprehensive site characterisations to identify risks for regulatory and design needs, with support from engineering teams.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong technical and commercial understanding, with experience of running large offshore geotechnical campaigns and a commitment to technical excellence, personal efficiency, and career progression through Continued Professional Development.
