Job Title: Fire Engineer / Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Engineer to join our team at Proactive Solutions Group Ltd in Crawley. As an Operations Manager / Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all installation, service, and fault works within the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the installation, servicing, and fault rectification of fire protection systems.
  2. Organize tasks efficiently to support business objectives and drive growth within the operations department.
  3. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure a technically proficient and fulfilled team.
  4. Set the strategic direction for the department, building systems that encourage growth and improvements.
  5. Review and approve operational invoices and provide financial reports.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience delivering projects for a Fire Detection Installer, with knowledge of NACOSS FIRE, BAFE, FIA, NSI, GENT, and Open Protocol standards.
  2. Fire Alarm project management experience, with a strong understanding of BS5839 standards.
  3. Minimum 5 years in operations management, project management, or a similar role in a Field Service based industry in the Fire Protection systems.
  4. Design experience would be an asset to help others and solve problems, along with knowledge of BS 5839 standards for UK Fire Alarm installations.
