Job Description

Carbon 60 is seeking an experienced Service and Commissioning Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning of new machines, as well as performing service activities when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning of new machines in the workshop and on-site
  • Performing service activities, including fault finding, debugging, and problem-solving
  • Working closely with the engineering team to manage the final stages of machine completion
  • Electrical safety tests and build quality checks prior to machines entering commissioning
  • Documenting changes during commissioning and maintaining fault records
  • Long-term testing of the machine and process
  • Responding to machine faults and service visits for existing customers
Requirements:
  • Experience within a multi-skilled role (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation)
  • Knowledge of PLC, Pneumatics, Motion Systems, Servo Drives, or Robotics
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and make rectifications
  • Ability to travel UK-wide when needed
