Kings Camps is seeking a skilled Aquatic Instructor to join our team as a Swim Teacher/Lifeguard. As an essential member, you will be responsible for delivering engaging 30-45 minute swimming sessions for children aged 5-17, focusing on building water confidence and improving swimming techniques.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a swim teacher, hold a current SEQ Level 2 or STA Level 2 certification, and possess excellent coaching or mentoring skills.
This is a part-time temporary contract role with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (pro-rata). Benefits include opportunities for career development and potential regular employment with Kings.
About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who share our passion for getting children active, having fun, and learning together.

  • To build water confidence in mixed ability groups aged 5-17 through engaging 30-45 minute sessions.
  • To work closely with the Camp Manager and a like-minded team to ensure a safe aquatic environment.
  • To prioritize the welfare of children during all activities, including lunch breaks and swimming sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Bespoke swimming instruction for children aged 5-17.
  • Lifeguarding duties to ensure a safe environment.
  • Collaboration with the Camp Manager and team to achieve goals.
