Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and efficient Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Pasta Evangelists Limited. This role is ideal for individuals with basic culinary skills and experience working in fast-paced kitchen environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, preparing food to the highest standards, and working efficiently in a team-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and inform the team of availability.
  • Document food information and maintain stock levels.
  • Record food wastage and follow stock rotation principles.
  • Operate equipment effectively and ensure thorough cleaning.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with safe food handling techniques.
  • Basic culinary skills, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and measuring ingredients.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for food preparation and kitchen organization.

Salary Information

The estimated hourly rate for this position is £12.50 per hour, with opportunities for a monthly bonus based on site performance.
