Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Structural Technician to join our team, responsible for technical drawing and design, 3D modeling, structural analysis support, coordination and communication, site visits, documentation and reporting, compliance, and project support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Drawing & Design: Prepare and produce accurate structural drawings in accordance with design specifications using AutoCAD or similar software.
  • 3D Modelling & BIM: Support the production of 3D models and Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes, ensuring models are accurate and adhere to project requirements.
  • Structural Analysis Support: Collaborate with engineers to interpret structural analysis and provide design solutions for various building structures.
  • Coordination & Communication: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure structural designs integrate seamlessly with the overall project.
  • Site Visits & Inspections: Conduct site visits to review structural elements on-site, assess progress, and identify any potential issues.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all design calculations, specifications, and reports, ensuring they meet the relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements

To be successful as a Structural Technician at Everpool, you should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a consulting or contractor environment, along with a relevant technical qualification, such as an HNC, HND, or Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD/BIM software is essential, with experience with Tekla or other 3D modeling tools being desirable.

Salary and Benefits
