Job Title: Chemistry Teacher

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified Chemistry Teacher to join our team. As a Chemistry Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality chemistry education to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver engaging chemistry lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Student Assessment: Design and administer assessments, providing constructive feedback to students.
  • Personalized Support: Offer one-on-one and small group support to students who require extra help.
  • Resource Preparation: Create and organize teaching materials and interactive activities to enhance student learning.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes student growth and development.
  • Collaboration: Work with colleagues to enhance the chemistry curriculum and share best practices.
  • Parental Engagement: Communicate with parents about student progress and attend parent-teacher conferences.
  • Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in science clubs, competitions, and school events to further student interest in chemistry.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) are required.
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred, with a proven track record of effective teaching and student progress.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with educational best practices.
