Job Summary:

This role represents a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in control systems engineering. As an Apprentice Service Engineer, you will join a talented team at ITI Operations Limited and undertake a Level 6 Control Systems Engineer apprenticeship. Your primary focus will be on acquiring hands-on experience and foundational technical knowledge in troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of systems tailored to diverse client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Incident Resolution: Work collaboratively with the team to resolve complex client incidents.
  • Asset Management Framework: Ensure seamless maintenance of the asset management framework for all sites.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, test plans, operator manuals, and quality documentation.
  • Commissioning Process: Contribute to the commissioning process on customer sites, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Qualification Pursuit: Achieve the successful completion of your Apprenticeship Qualification.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Organizational Skills.
  • A Strong Aptitude for Hands-on Technical Work.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Software Products.

  • An Interest in Systems Engineering Principles.
  • An Understanding of Electrical Concepts.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence or Indication of Working Towards One.
  • A Valid Passport or Ability to Obtain One.
  • Candidates May Be Required to Achieve Appropriate Security and Medical Clearances.

Working Arrangements:

You will attend the University of Sheffield's AMRC Training Centre for an initial block of full-time study and then spend one day a week on knowledge studies, with the remaining time dedicated to in-company learning.
