Job Title: Class 1 Driver - 4 on 4 off
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading refrigerated vehicles, interacting with customers, and maintaining regular communication with our transport team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload refrigerated vehicles, ensuring that all goods are handled with care and transported efficiently.
- Customer Interaction: Deal with customers face-to-face and over the phone, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Communication: Maintain regular contact with the transport team to ensure smooth operations and manage customer expectations.
- Training and Development: Attend regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- UK Class 1 (CE) Licence: You must hold a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence.
- Experience: You should have relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of refrigerated vehicle operations.
