Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a leading Mechanical and Electrical engineering contractor, in overseeing a range of newly secured M&E projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project costs for accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Evaluate, price, negotiate, and finalize budgets and costs for project scope changes.
- Develop and maintain procurement schedules.
- Prepare bills of quantities and schedules of works to facilitate accurate project pricing.
- Implement cost control and value management strategies.
- Provide monthly forecasts, CVRs, and Profit & Loss statements.
- Oversee the commercial aspects of projects.
- Manage cash flow.
- Manage subcontractor payments.
- Variation Account and forecast final accounts.
Requirements:
- Experience of working within the Mechanical and Electrical sector.
- Degree qualified in quantity surveying or similar (HNC, etc) (Desirable).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
