Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Computing Systems and Security Expert to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the management of our Linux environment and the enhancement of our IT security infrastructure. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly developing field.

This position is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We also welcome requests for hybrid working that combines remote and on-campus work. The estimated salary for this role is £42,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have large-scale Linux system management experience, demonstrable scripting skills, and a good understanding of the computing security threat landscape. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills, are also essential.
