Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Land Management team in Oxford as a Graduate Project Surveyor.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in rural surveying, working towards becoming a Rural Chartered Surveyor with the RICS and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.

You will be assigned a Buddy, Supervisor, and Counsellor to support your growth and development throughout the programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on day-to-day tasks as set by your line manager and APC supervisor;
  • Take responsibility for work and projects as appropriate to the team/department;
  • Liaise with your APC supervisor and counsellor on a regular basis to discuss progress towards the APC;
  • Prioritize and manage your own workload;
  • Understand the business/department context;
  • Deliver accurate and high-quality reporting to clients;
  • Be responsive to client needs and look for ways to improve delivery and relationships;
  • Build relationships with internal and external contacts and be responsive and helpful to clients;
  • Share expertise with colleagues;
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues in the office and across the business;
  • Work collaboratively with others in a team;
  • Work flexibly on your own initiative and as part of a team;
  • Manage relationships with tact and diplomacy;

Requirements
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with confident communication and the ability to express opinions clearly and convincingly;
  • Determination to work towards objectives;
  • Motivated and committed to a career in surveying;
  • Analytical capability with good problem-solving skills and a logical approach.
