Responsibilities:
* Assist the Payroll Manager in managing client payroll portfolios
* Complete weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly payrolls for clients using Sage Payroll
* Process BACS payments and upload pension data to relevant providers
* Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and submit returns on time
* Address and resolve client payroll queries
* Provide holiday cover and support for the Payroll Manager as needed
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll within an accountancy practice
* Proficient in Sage Payroll software
* Strong understanding of payroll legislation and HMRC regulations
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
