Your primary focus will be on maintaining and improving our database infrastructure, including new installations, performance tuning, and automation of processes. You will work closely with our Business Intelligence, Application Support, and Development teams to ensure seamless integration and cross-training.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and improving Microsoft SQL Server environment
- Performing performance tuning and query optimization
- Implementing HA and DR solutions
- Participating in risk assessments and minimizing environmental impact
- Collaborating with multiple teams for cross-training and support
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Database Administration, preferably in a Project or Operations environment
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008+
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure Technologies
- Proficiency in T-SQL, SQL Server Upgrades, and cloud migrations
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools like PowerShell and Terraform
- Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI
Desirable skills include PCI-DSS Compliance knowledge, NoSQL experience, and familiarity with Solarwinds, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, and Service Now.
