About the Role


The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business development plans to drive growth and success in a dynamic industry.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Developing and executing business development strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop effective proposals
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure ongoing business success
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategies
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to track business development progress and performance

Requirements


The successful candidate will possess:



  • Proven experience in business development and bid management within a construction or related industry
  • Strong understanding of business development principles and strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and initiative
  • Degree-level education in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or construction management

Benefits


This role offers a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £90,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package including car allowance, healthcare, and pension.
