Student Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our education team as a Student Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting the education provision on offer and supporting learners in their journey towards resettlement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with learners on a day-to-day basis to promote the education provision and conduct initial assessments in English, Maths, and learning difficulties/disabilities.
  • Provide prospective and existing learners with relevant and easily understood information regarding learning and skills provision and continuing support.
  • Contribute to a multi-disciplinary approach that seeks to facilitate a smooth transition to the resettlement of the learner into the community.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience of conducting initial assessments and supporting learning of individuals and groups.
  • Hold or be willing to work towards level 2 qualifications in literacy and numeracy within an agreed timescale.
