Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the public on building regulations and other related legislation.
- Process complex applications under building regulations, liaising with applicants and drafting determinations.
- Carry out inspections to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, engaging specialist colleagues when necessary.
- Dangerous structure call outs.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in building control.
- Significant stakeholder liaison experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure to deliver results within challenging timeframes.
- Good customer relations.
About the Role:
This is a contract role expected to last around 6 months, with the possibility of extensions. The rate of pay will be around £60 per hour.
