Fabric Maintenance Operative Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Maintenance Operative to join our team at Albert Docks, Liverpool. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £33k DOE.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance, including repairs and upkeep.
  • Conduct compliance checks and ensure all fabric systems are functioning correctly.
  • Perform basic plumbing duties, handyperson tasks, and fabric maintenance duties.
  • Check emergency lighting and perform tap temps and anti-legionella work.
  • Complete room repairs and ad-hoc maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
  • Proven maintenance and handyperson background with several years of experience.
  • Excellent customer skills and a self-motivated attitude.
  • Ability to complete general fabric maintenance tasks and operate building systems effectively.
  • Knowledge of basic building services, including water, heating, ventilation, and waste.
  • Willingness to undertake training as required.
