Compliance Director

Broadgate Search Ltd is seeking an experienced Compliance professional to lead our Compliance function. As Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for managing the Compliance function and developing opportunities and requirements as a result of regulatory change.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction of the Compliance function
- Lead, develop, and direct the firm's compliance strategy to manage compliance and regulatory risks
- Act as a compliance subject matter expert and support the business to manage regulatory risk associated with both current and proposed business activities
- Develop, maintain, and advise on a framework of Compliance policies, procedures, and controls for assessing and monitoring compliance risk
- Oversee and direct the development and deployment of a robust compliance monitoring plan to ensure ongoing compliance reviews of core business activities and functions
- A compliance professional with experience and knowledge of both developing and implementing effective compliance strategy, oversight, and advisory approaches
- Experience of managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels including Executive board level
- A confident communicator with proven ability to analyse operations and identify significant risks
- Awareness of the role of the FCA / PRA and their current and future sector priorities
- Held a Head of Compliance role within the Banking or Consumer Credit sector
