About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Performance Engineer to join our team at Arup, with a focus on net zero carbon solutions.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work on a diverse range of projects, supporting local, national, and global clients in achieving their sustainability targets.

Your expertise in building energy modelling and decarbonization strategies will be essential in developing net zero carbon solutions for new build projects and decarbonizing existing client buildings/building portfolios.

With a strong background in building services engineering, energy, or a related field, you will be able to contribute to design notes, reports, and general correspondence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing net zero carbon roadmaps and decarbonization plans for existing buildings
  • Formulating energy strategy approaches for new build projects/developments
  • Interpreting energy modelling results and identifying energy-saving solutions

Requirements

  • BEng, Meng or MSC in Building Services Engineering, energy or related field
  • Good appreciation of UKGBC, LETI & CIBSE publications and net zero approaches
  • Familiar with the building energy modelling process
