Pure Search is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Head of Tax to join our team. As a key member of our tax function, you will be responsible for overseeing UK tax compliance filings, including Corporation Tax, VAT, and limited Employment Tax filings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. UK Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation and submission of UK tax compliance filings, including Corporation Tax, VAT, and limited Employment Tax filings, both internally and externally.
  2. Cash Tax Forecasting: Manage cash tax forecasting and reporting for the UK & Ireland region, providing timely and accurate information to the Group cash management team.
  3. Tax Reporting Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of UK tax reporting using the global reporting tool, identifying areas for improvement and providing guidance to junior team members as needed.
  4. UK Tax Advice: Provide expert UK tax advice to the business, building relationships with commercial teams to deliver timely and well-considered tax advice on global customer contracts.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements throughout the compliance cycle, focusing on readiness for Making Tax Digital (MTD) for corporation tax.
