Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Care Assistant to join our team at Braefield Nursing Home. As a Mental Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents with mental health needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
- Participate in activities and encourage residents to engage in meaningful pursuits
- Assist residents with personal care tasks and promote independence and dignity
- Monitor and report changes in residents' emotional and physical well-being
- Support residents in developing life skills and promoting independence
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with residents and their families
- Undertake additional duties as required by the Home Manager
