Salary: £40,748 + depending on skills and experience
This role is part of our Mechanical HVAC/LEV team, which sets site engineering standards and requirements for equipment/systems/facilities in accordance with legislation and process.
About the Role:
- Review design proposals from external contractors and consultants to ensure compliance with current legislation, regulations, and site standards.
- Provide advice and guidance on HVAC/LEV issues to the wider business.
- Work with site Engineering Authorities to assess operations and ensure LEV systems are compliant with regulations.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation to support new HVAC and LEV installations.
- Define requirements for HVAC and LEV systems in conjunction with end users.
- Support Principal Engineers in producing and updating site engineering standards for HVAC and LEV systems.
- Evaluate new and modified assets for compliance with relevant current standards and stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to review installations and commissioning of new assets where discipline knowledge is required.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- HNC/HND qualified in Building Services Engineering.
- British Occupational Health Society P601 course in LEV or other LEV courses.
- Registered with an engineering professional institute, such as CIBSE or IMechE, working towards chartered status.
- Approximately 5 years' experience in Design or installation background in HVAC/LEV related fields.
