Job Summary:

We are seeking a Specialist Dental Nurse to join our team at University Hospital Crosshouse. The successful candidate will work within the Maxillofacial/Orthodontic and Restorative Department, providing high-quality nursing care and demonstrating a genuine interest in Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional nursing care to patients within the Maxillofacial/Orthodontic and Restorative Department.
  2. Work collaboratively with the team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  3. Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge and skills in Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
  4. Participate in continuing professional development (CPD) to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in the field.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the General Dental Council.
  • Post-qualification experience within the specialties.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A valid full UK/EU/EEA driving licence.
