Perinatal Counsellor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Perinatal Counsellor to join our team at CrossReach. As a Perinatal Counsellor, you will provide support to parents and families expecting a child or whose youngest child is under the age of three.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver counselling and therapy sessions to clients
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date client notes
  • Work with a minimum of 2 clients per week
  • Participate in monthly in-house peer reflective practice
  • Attend external individual supervision
  • Be a member of a recognised professional body

Requirements

  • Qualification in Counselling or a related field
  • Experience working with Perinatal clients
  • Availability to volunteer on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays
  • Ability to work within CrossReach's Christian Ethos
