Job Title: Adult Psychiatry Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Psychiatry Consultant to join our team at NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our psychiatric services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert psychiatric care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including junior doctors and nurses, to provide high-quality care to patients
  • Contribute to the development of our psychiatric services, including the design and implementation of new programs and services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, social workers, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain and improve your skills and knowledge
