We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality General Operative to join our team at REED Specialist Recruitment. As a Quality General Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of product safety and quality.

**Key Responsibilities**
---------------------

* Conduct relevant product safety checks, including outturn, weight checks, metal detection, and labelling checks.
* Complete monitoring documentation and upload data to the company communication portal.
* Ensure product changeovers are undertaken according to company policies.
* Manage label printing and issuing.
* Conduct routine quality checks, including cooking up products and assessing them against product requirements.
* Collect and organise samples for external analysis, including microbiological, chemical, speciation, allergenic, and environmental tests.
* Perform in-house chemical, speciation, and allergenic testing.
* Undertake pre-start-up checks.
* Ensure that all taste panels, shelf lives, and organoleptic testing are completed and recorded in line with company procedures.

**Requirements**

* Good written and spoken English.
* Flexible and adaptable with a 'can-do' attitude and keen to learn.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks, and maintain excellent attention to detail.
