Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £70,000 Per Annum


Digital Waffle is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative software solutions. As a key member of the team, you will design and implement features, write clean and efficient code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the entire product lifecycle, focusing on design and feature development
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, functional, and testable code
  • Enhance processes to align with business objectives
  • Mentor and guide team members, sharing expertise and best practices
  • Collaborate with Product, Support, and Infrastructure teams to drive project success
  • Take ownership of solutions and proactively manage workload to meet deadlines


Skillset required:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in C#.NET (.NET 7+ or.NET Core)
  • Familiarity with software development best practices (SOLID, DRY)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of Entity Framework, SQL, and Azure
