**New Business Development Opportunity**

We seek an accomplished Associate Director, Business Development to join our team and drive new business opportunities within the Energy and Commodities industry, particularly Supply and Trading. This role will focus on two key components: sourcing new opportunities through various channels and executing strategic sales approaches.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead New Pipeline Development: Develop and execute strategies to expand our presence in assigned markets and industries, particularly Supply and Trading.
  • Initial Contact and Relationship Building: Establish relationships with new contacts and connections, introducing Publicis Sapient to prospective clients and developing these initial contacts into qualified opportunities.
  • Cross-Selling and Deal Development: Grow seed opportunities into larger scope deals by cross-selling our comprehensive service portfolio throughout the selling cycle.
  • Market Growth and Perception: Enhance Publicis Sapient's reputation and capabilities externally and internally through marketing campaigns, thought leadership, business partnerships, asset demonstrations, reference materials, and client successes.
  • RFP Opportunities: Ensure Publicis Sapient gets invited to competitive RFPs in areas of significant advantage for the company.
  • Innovative Strategies: Partner with commercial and cross-disciplinary teams to develop winning strategies that grow our client portfolio and demonstrate value as a differentiator.
  • Client Value-Add: Provide continuous value-add to existing client teams and clients through industry expertise, domain expertise, or sales leadership and eminence.
  • Client Account Planning: Lead annual client account planning sessions to develop Publicis Sapient's sales identification and execution strategy.
  • Proactive Propositions: Support the development of proactive propositions to position Publicis Sapient as a relevant provider in clients' digital agendas and open doors to new opportunities.
  • New Bookings Targets: Own quarterly and annual new bookings targets, ensuring contractual arrangements meet defined commercial goals while reflecting and forecasting opportunities in our CRM system.

**Competitive Salary:** We offer a highly competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses. The location is flexible, but ideally based in a major city with access to top talent in the industry.
