About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Engineer to join our Technical Direction Engineering Team at Veolia. As a CAD Engineer, you will play a crucial role in translating conceptual designs into CAD drawings, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain CAD drawings, including 2D and 3D models, using AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla.
  • Produce Bill of Materials (BOM) listings to enable specifications, calculations, and component selection.
  • Collaborate with project teams to create, update, and manage Building Information Models (BIM) in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Utilize a Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure accurate data management, version control, and efficient project collaboration.
  • Support the installation and construction phase of projects, providing consultative design support and technical expertise.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in CAD design and engineering, with a strong understanding of 2D and 3D modeling.
  • Relevant engineering qualification, such as a degree, HNC, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, and other relevant CAD software.
  • Knowledge of BIM processes and standards, including ISO 19650.
  • Experience with Common Data Environments, such as Viewpoint, BIM360, or Projectwise.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload.
