We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to become Independent Visitors for children and young people in Wolverhampton.

About the Role:

  • As an Independent Visitor, you will be responsible for building a relationship with a young person and engaging them in activities they enjoy.
  • Volunteering mainly takes place at weekends and after school hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Becoming familiar with the young person's interests and preferences.
  • Planning and participating in activities that promote their social, emotional, and physical well-being.

Requirements:

  • No experience working with children and young people is required.
  • An ability to establish trust and build relationships with young people.
  • A commitment to regular volunteering.

Salary: £19,000 - £21,000 per annum, depending on experience
