About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Finance team as an Assistant Management Accountant (AMA) specialising in Fixed Assets. The successful candidate will have a defined set of responsibilities across both the profit & loss account and the balance sheet, and will be responsible for producing and presenting monthly results to senior leadership within the financial accounts team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registering additions/disposals/transfers against the four asset books within Oracle
  • Reconciling the Fixed Asset Work in Progress queue and supporting the team in developing a robust process for accounting for the assets correctly
  • Providing support to the Finance team in the preparation of monthly Capex Reporting
  • Assisting with closing the Fixed Asset registers as part of the month-end process and understanding the drivers behind depreciation forecast/budget variances
  • Working with team members to drive process improvements to ensure the correct controls are in place to monitor the revaluation of foreign currency transactions
  • Liaising with members of the Finance/Cash/Accounts Payable and reconciliation teams to investigate FX valuation issues and post the appropriate corrections
Requirements
  • Advantageous but not essential to be part qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • Ideally have worked with Oracle before
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • The ability to provide real added value, insight, and interpretation into the numbers you are reporting
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to build strong relationships with other Finance team members and stakeholders
