Premier Work Support is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy Mouldshop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the production process to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Manufacturing Management, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles. You will work closely with our Mouldshop Technical Manager to drive process improvements and optimize production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement production schedules, manage inventory, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of production staff, providing guidance on Health and Safety protocols, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Quality, and Health and Safety, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Manufacturing Management Experience: Proven track record of success in a manufacturing management role, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes, including injection moulding, extrusion, and flexible PVC manufacturing.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of production staff.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Commitment to continuous improvement and a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
