Gas Engineer Job Description

Are you a skilled Gas Engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team at Gilks (Nantwich) Ltd.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Gas Engineer to carry out a wide range of mechanical installation tasks throughout the Northwest Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems, as well as conducting fault diagnosis and servicing commercial gas boilers and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out plumbing, heating, and minor ventilation works
  • Conducting fault diagnosis of heating systems
  • Completing reactive maintenance work on site
  • Servicing Commercial Gas boilers and Overhead Gas Radiant Heaters
  • Servicing Commercial Gas Catering Equipment
Requirements
  • Experienced in both domestic and commercial gas applications
  • Proven experience in fault diagnosis of heating systems
  • NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in building services / plumbing
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Non-Domestic Gas Safe certified
  • Full UK driving licence
