Job Title: Engineering Stores Person

At Gatwick Airport, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Engineering Stores team as an Engineering Stores Person.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who can assist our Engineering Stores Manager in delivering a safe, efficient, and resilient Engineering Stores function for Gatwick Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock and purchasing Engineering and Fleet spares, as well as ensuring that assets are ready to support our customers across the airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accept, check, and confirm supplier stock deliveries into Engineering Stores.
  • Issue stock to customers and deliver across campus to various departments.
  • Check and replenish Main and Forward stores areas.
  • Carry out physical stock and cycle counting processes.
  • Update systems (SAP and Ultimo) to consume stock issues and make corrections as required.
  • Maintain clean and tidy stores.
  • On call duties for out of hours Stores cover.

Requirements:

  • Great team player.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to connect with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience of stock management.
  • Familiar with working in a warehouse.
  • Forklift Licence, Reach and Counterbalance RTIB Licence holder (desirable).
