**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Nurse to join our team in Shetland. As a Community Nurse, you will work under the direction of the District Nurse Specialist Practitioners in the community and in partnership with the existing Primary Health and Social Care Teams.

The successful candidate will have experience in delivering care to patients, families, and carers, and will be able to develop their clinical skills and knowledge. It is essential that you are a car driver with access to your own vehicle for work purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care for patients, families, and carers in the community
  • Work collaboratively with the Primary Health and Social Care Teams to provide high-quality care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £31,892 - £39,735 per annum (pro rata), plus a Distant Islands Allowance of £2,380 per annum (pro rata). A relocation package of up to £8,000 is also available.
