We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Teacher to support young people with Special Educational Needs in Birmingham.

About the Role:

This rewarding position is ideal for passionate educators committed to helping students achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to students in a home-based setting, offering a blend of national curriculum and alternative approaches to education.
  • Teach core subjects such as English, Maths, Science, and Art, including GCSE preparation.
  • Collaborate with schools and stakeholders to track and report on student progress.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with SEN students across Key Stages (11 years old to Further Education).
  • Confidence in delivering lessons face-to-face and online.
  • Passion for supporting young people with diverse needs, patience, and adaptability.
  • Ability to teach core subjects, particularly Science, English, and Maths, with some experience in Art.
