About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger and Billing Officer to join our established finance team at our Head Office in Bromsgrove. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the Group achieves cash collection targets and minimises debts of concern.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raising sales invoices in line with customer invoicing terms to pre-agreed systemised billing set up
  • Raising free text invoices for one-off re-chargeable costs
  • Chasing local authority accounts for payment of invoices and dealing with queries
  • Allocating cash received against ledger
  • Managing queries with regions and customers

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to network at all levels
  • Proven proficiency using Microsoft Word packages
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines on time, every time
  • Experience within a similar role and chasing Local Authorities for payments
  • Experience of using Access or similar integrated system
