About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team of staff at Primary Schools in Bolton. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have additional needs and hold a valid Level 1, 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. You will be confident in building effective working relationships with adults and pupils, and possess excellent ICT skills.

We offer a competitive daily rate, PAYE paid weekly, and access to our SEND Toolkit skills development package. You will also have the opportunity to complete funded formal qualifications and progress your career through our Care to Classroom setting conversion course.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in the classroom, assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Work with students who have additional needs, providing individualized support and guidance
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment

Person Specification:

  • Experience working with children who have additional needs
  • Valid Level 1, 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Excellent ICT skills
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to provide a new one
