About the Role

Wykes Group is seeking a skilled Machinist Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for operating and setting up various machines, including milling machines, centre lathes, saws, radial drills, and manual milling machines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up machines to produce high-quality products
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to understand specifications
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards
  • Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing regular maintenance
  • Collaborate with engineers and production team to improve processes
  • Ensure that health and safety protocols are followed throughout the production process
